Under the OBBB Act, the SALT (State and Local Tax) deduction limit increases, giving homeowners and taxpayers in high-tax states more relief. Previously capped at $10,000, the new OBBB provision allows for higher deductible limits, letting you claim more for property taxes, state income taxes, or sales taxes whichever gives you the bigger refund advantage.
