Standard deduction amounts rise under the OBBB Act to:

  • $31,500 for Married Filing Jointly

  • $15,750 for Head of Household

  • $12,600 for Single Filers

This increases refund potential for most households.
Taxpayers with large mortgage or SALT deductions should still review whether itemizing offers greater benefit.
